Foreign Direct Investment Into SA Of R120 Million

by Peter Bruil, Managing Director at Pam Golding Lodges & Guesthouses

Pam Golding Hospitality is proud to announce the new website for the Pam Golding Hospitality Partners , an integrated one stop Partnership that continuous to be the market leader in the sale of Boutique Hotels, Lodges and Guesthouses.
The Partnership comprises Pam Golding Lodges and Guesthouses (“PGLAG”), Grant Thornton Audit and Tax Advisors, IBN Business and Immigration Solutions, Jan Schliemann Attorneys and BnB Sure insurance.

PGLAG not only sells Hospitality Properties but through the Partnership provides clients with a holistic advice on hospitality, legal, insurance, immigration, accounting and tax matters.
Barely a few months old the new website of Pam Golding Hospitality Partners has already resulted in a quite phenomenal deal flow.
During the first 6 months of 2015 we have concluded a total of 9 transactions with a combined value of close to R160 Million.
It is interesting to see that of these nine transactions, four took place in Cape Town, four in the Winelands and one in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Without a doubt South Africa remains to be an attractive investment destination for foreigners, as seven of these nine transactions were completed with foreign nationals resulting in Foreign Direct Investment into SA of R120 Million.
The current position of the Rand will most likely result in a further consolidation of a past year of largely positive performance for the local travel and tourism industry. This in turn boosts further confidence by hospitality investors and PGLAG is bullish about further deals to follow suit soon.
Please contact us should you wish to sell your hospitality property and or invest in this lucrative industry.
